100+ muskrats and 2 mink up north, 200+ muskrats and 5 mink first four days south. Tossed a lot of kits and small rats that have absolutely zero value on the market... fur buyers will not take them for free. Populations are thin and spotty wherever a current flow exists due to last May's flooding. Low prices, low populations :<( Maybe I misread this...Did you mean you "tossed" as in threw out, the kits and smalls? I just want to make sure I understood correctly.

Here on the edge of the tug hill i am very fortunate to have no snow yet and it appears to be none in the near future. So far 25-30 rats, 5 beaver, 3 mink, 2 reds, 2 greys, 3 coyote, 2 possum, and have caught a handful of coon but have only kept 2. Still trying for that elusive otter as im in my second year trapping and have not caught one yet.
The highlight for me is going out with my 5y.o. daughter and seeing her enthusiasm and love of all things outdoors. Got a nice female mink today that im going to have mounted for her late Jan birthday.
