He was "Open and honest" and showed the police around- Got a ticket for that and a WHOLE lot more. Reminded me of some of the "adventures" we have had in the field when being checked- Give 'em name, rank and serial number.... Volunteer NOTHING!! Wednesday, February 23: Police show up and inquire about unlicensed working dogs, and Josh shows them around the farm. Uninterrupted, Josh would have been off to do afternoon farm chores. So the authorities observe the animals only have frozen water. Hydration tests are given and passed. Still, Josh is given a ticket for “failure to provide proper sustenance.” fussylittleblog.com/2015/03/17/unexpected-dangers-of-farming/

We are all one observation and or statement away from a legal conundrum, in any one of an number of normal everyday activities. No one looks at the big picture..... Overall herd health should trump a frozen water bucket., Oh wait that would be common sense.

Two years ago a FDA inspector saw a dog take a crap in a cabbage field south of me which resulted in the whole field being condemned.
