Hey thanks guys, this is my 3rd year and oi have been trying so hard to catch one. Mark Zagger makes it seem sooo easy but man, they seem to know every trick I try. The really GREAT news is I hooked up another one this morning in a set about 30 yds from the other one!!!! I hope to have a pic of this one up soon.

AJ, it would only hurt if MZ was serious, and I actually gave a s[et] to begin with Now more importantly, congratulations on your first targeted catches and I would respectfully suggest you consider having the first one tanned. I did mine, although it got lost with other furs in my transit from NY to CO long ago. I suspect the movers filched my furs, most importantly of all were three black muskrats caught in one year, three different counties and I've never caught a single one since

Austin takes ball-bustin' pretty good.....so I know I can take shots and get away with it......others have FAR thinner skin......maybe even MZ!

MZ, there is no possible scenario I can think of where you could offend me. I appreciate sarcasm and good-natured bantering much as anyone else... it is when things are said mean-spirited and disrespectful that crosses the line. And I honestly do recall the first skinning project more than the catch itself. Nobody prepared me for what a knife-fight that was, every inch from start to finish. Keep in mind at that time there were exactly ZERO books written on eastern coyotes, zero VHS tapes... and dvd format was years away from being invented yet

Bad0351, Congrats on the Coyotes. I know how you feel. I've been able to pinch a few each year, but badly want to try to get to the next level and score on them on more regular basis. Seems like a bigger learning curve than other trapping I've tried. (at least for me). Keep it up - congrats again.
