I'd prefer you have a full bottle of that apple juice that ten-gauge made, first. That stuff almost tasted like it had turned, but was smooth on the palate as my finest whetstone. You enjoy a quart bottle of that yourself first, then we'll race a little while afterwards

since they are only worth about $4 bucks, this would be the year to let others practice on them!

Sorry bout your luck Brian. You 'll just have to make it in Jan.. due to John's other commitments this was our only date in Dec.. Austin, I reckon there's 6 bottles left -------possibly less before Dec.21 . I call it skinning juice! Hardly ever do any skinning without a pull or two.

Von, I have 17 gallons of wine from my grapes (some from 2010, 2011, and 2012, the 2012 is a blend of all of the varieties together because of a terribly small crop that year), 5.5 gallons of an apple-maple syrup wine (WOW!!!), a bit more than 5 gallons of hard cider (two different batches, each with a different yeast to experiment but I love them both!), 3 gallons of plum-blueberry wine, 5 gallons of rhubarb wine (it actually tastes like a fine Riesling), 3 gallons of that nut brown-maple beer that you liked (a new batch, none of the old batch left), and 5 gallons of Irish stout that I bottled about 16 weeks ago, should be just about hitting it's stride now... ...but, I can't make it this year. One of my twin baby grandsons has to be at Strong Memorial in Rochester for several protracted stays (his first birthday is December 18th, his "older" brother's is the 17th, we're trying to make it so that he can be home for those two days), my Dad's estate is an unbelievable, massive big ol' thorn to deal with (especially with my 4 brothers and 5 sisters, GAH!!!), and - yeah, and. Life's a wee bit busy, on top of all the rest of the things that are day-to-day living. I know, I know, you can hear the little kitten in me going "mew!!" in my whining. Maybe in the spring... but I may not have any fur, I haven't been able to set any traps other than the few that I can check from my window. MEW!!!

Hey Tim, Sounds like everyone should be heading to your place. Brewing isn't any fun unless you have a crowd to serve it to!
I have a pilsner that I'm hoping to brew tomorrow.
