Words cannot express the deepest sadness that I feel with Pat's passing. Not only do I feel the loss of one of the finest trappers I have ever known, but Pat also was part of my US Air Force family in which she served her country with the same passion & enthusiasm for many years. I know that the NYSTA Youth Trappers Camps that bear her name were so very special to her and a culmination of a storied trapping history in which she loved so dearly. When I last saw her at the NYSTA convention this past year, as so often the case, I didn't know that would be my last time to spend time together. I'm so very glad I was able to see her in good spirits and enjoying herself and while the time we spent together was short, it was truly special. I miss her already and the upcoming NYSTA BOD meeting in January will be most certainly strange without her smile and laughter to brighten an otherwise dreary Winter day. Rest in peace my friend, I take comfort knowing that that you have found peace & happiness and that you will be forever looking down upon us until we all meet again.

It is a sad day. She was one hell of a lady when I met her years ago at the youth trappers camp. May she rest in peace.

May Pat rest in peace. I have been one of the mentors at the camps for a while now and had the priviledge to be around this special person. NYSTA BOD will miss her dearly and as for the Youth Trappers Camps, tehy will live on.
God Speed and Deariest wishes for her family.

Wow, sad news indeed. She was a great person, so committed to the youth camps and the good of trapping in general. Sat with her for a spell at the Catt. show last year and talked for a while, such an impressive lady. She will be missed....
