Took these pics today to share. This is a toilet of 3 different deposits at the beginning of a trail I cut through thick brush several years ago. It ends at an overgrown clearing next to an old stone wall. Everything uses this trail but the cats seem to use it religiously this time of year. Up top where the trail comes to the clearing I find this. Raked over and covered up by a cat. I set this up and caught a cat the first night. Then nothing the following day. Today when I took these pictures another cat had visited last night. I'm set up right on the carcass with two traps. Last nights cat entered and fed on the rump instead of the ribs so one of the traps was moved. You can just barely see the dead deer in the brush down to the right of the flag. If that doesn't get ones blood pumping I don't know what does!

Dear Mr. Mike, Thats a deadly looking cat catching set up! Nothing left for you to do but sharpen the skinnin knife and wait! I'm jealous, we dont have many cats around here anymore and Im tired of plucking yotey dogs out of my skunk sets. I havent caught a cat in a couple years but I still make a few sets for them every year. Good luck and keep us posted. Regards

Well, it would be better if that second cat came back? ?? Just gonna wait him out. 2 NIGHTS in a row I had a pullout from a cast jaw 4 coiled mb650 here? ?? So out came the trail camera. It was Mr Blackbear lol. I'm glad I didn't get his toes and hold him!

K guys I'm an idiot!!!!!!!!!!! It did not occur to me or cross my mind I should say that this deer carcass is not covered and therefor illegal to set on! Thankfully I had to move the traps today and make new sets on the path coming in because the bear is constantly reaching havoc and tearing everything up. Anyway I feel pretty stupid now and thank the person for bringing it to my attention.
