4 seniors on their last home game. All close friends thru elementary. My son is #53. Typically a running back, but moved to center last year because he did not trust anyone to snap the ball. He also plays inside linebacker and led the team in tackles and sacks and was in the top 20 for Section 3 high school football. He played the last 3 games with a broken hand breaking it in one game and finishing. Learned to snap lefty the practice before this game. Played that whole game and the next which was the last game.

Good for him, it's nice to see a good work ethic.

He also played baseball as a catcher last year with a torn knee. Never said anything about it hurting until 2 games left. When he had it checked out he would not tell the coach. He finally told him after the last game. He earned the schools WORK HORSE award last year. This is him inbetween games of a double header that he caught both games for.

#53 is always the toughest player on the team. Sounds like he wore it like a champ!
