they are comparable to others, some swear by them and others swear at them. I have run them in the past and held yotes ok,if you plan on targeting yotes there is not allot of room for error though, but if you plan on targeting fox with an occasional yote there a decent trap. hope this helps

I'm targeting mostly yotes and have all mb's and bridger traps but found a good deal on them and didnt know if it was a good purchase to add the couple extra to my line or to stay away from them.

If the deal is good enough, buy them. I have a few of those exact traps. They are American made and are fairly solid. I guess it all depends on how good a deal you can get.

Just added a dozen to my fox / yote line. I like what I see so far.

SC traps are a well built AMERICAN trap. I have some 1.5 OS and some #3 OS and they have performed very well for me.

yote, if those are the ones I think they are, I wouldn't hesitate - get 'em before I do. Seriously, I DO know the very ones you're talking about and I WOULD pull the trigger if I were you. They're honestly new, just rusted from humidity in his basement. 2 coils, not 4, but you'll be perfectly fine with them the way they are. Well, of course they'd have to be dyed or dipped, but you know what I meant.

I went ans looked at buying them yeaterday.tmc, they are not what you think.they are junk.only 1 is a sleepy creek.one of them is 4 coiled.they all have laminated jaws and are crusty the rust is so bad.on top of it I could set the traps by hand so the springs are shot.I wouldnt have payed more than 5$ for the 3 of them.and he has 110 conis that he is asking more than new price for.

ouch, my bad for thinking they were the same traps from the same guy. But good in a way, because now I can buy them (NOT the ones you looked at, obviously!! lol!) in peace knowing that it wouldn't be hurting you if I do. "Assumption is Life's lowest level of knowledge." I know that, too bad I don't live it more often. Sorry for the jump to conclusions.

Nope, a LOT farther east, lol! Like I said, I assumed... I calculated the price per trap, didn't pay attention to the NUMBER of traps you first mentioned other than to calculate that... yeah. No excuses. Mine (yes I'm planning on buying them ) have just a haze of rust, but I think they'll need a bit more degreasing to be sure. And they literally were just taken out of the box some years ago and hung on nails in the joists. Yay me.
