..........the Sears and Robuck Christmas "Wish List" catalog came in the mail? Remember the feeling you would get flipping through the pages and dreaming of getting all that great stuff under the tree? I just got my copy of F&T's 2014-2015 catalog. I'm remembering it well right now.

I remember hen Sears catalog had fishing , hunting equipment. Endorsed by baseball great Ted Williams.

Sears had a booklet," Tips For Trappers". At one time you could ship your furs to Sears and they acted as a sort of "middle man" for trappers selling their fur.

My father's first gun, a single shot, bolt action .22 was delivered through the mail from Sears. I have that gun in my cabinet today.

I have a Springfield 22. that has Westernfield marked on it. Think its Sears but might be Western Auto.

I still own my grandfathers sears roebuck bolt action 12 gauge, I might not know the Christmas catalog days, but I do know how you feel. I just got my minntrapproducts 2014-2015 catalog.

I believe all the sears branded guns were stamped "J. C. Higgins" or "Sears, Roebuck & Co."
