Check Fur Fish and Game or Trapper Predator magazines ( I don't want to miss quote) Doesn't look good

The prices are not going to be great but that should not matter if you love the sport of trapping, we should remember what prices were 5 years ago and hope that the foreign buyers figure out the customs thing and we hope they start buying , the prices should level out and we will have decent prices for a couple of years.its nice to have high prices for fur to help with gas prices but I will trap because I love to do it

Coop i know i had opened the proverbial can of worms on this one. Like all of our fellow wildlife stewards i myself will also trap this year no matter what the fur prices are. Lower prices will actualy be some what of a welcome releif after all the nonsense and lack of comon curtosy last year. We should all be afield for our love of the sport. The only thing the market value will determine is the scale of this years line. Iam simply begining my prep work and have yet to decide if i will be establishing a new long line with our recent relocation or just enjoy simple hobby traping near home.

As I am told coyotes and rats trap.mink fox I will trap as I will catch while trapping the other 2 fisher I would but no season where I live .coon only if I have to as they will be super low if buyers will buy.beaver I will trap where I need to for nuisance problems to keep my trapping areas. Hope I did not rile anyone we should trap to enjoy the sport not only when prices are high. I started trapping 8 years ago when rats were 3 dollars so the prices dont mean as much to me Im stupid I do it for the fun.

I enjoy trapping no matter what fur prices r .way to much money invested to worry about prices .as long I get steel in the ground I'm a happy trapper , having a critter in my trap is a bonus. Plus I love watching my 6 and 7 year olds running to check my traps ............ Very enjoyable sight to watch
