Duke Dog Proofs selling for $105.00 a dozen at Bill Dukes Booth at the U.P. Escanaba NTA National Trappers Convention.
Other Varieties are going even Cheaper. Some Brands for less than $100.00 a dozen.
NYRAT missed out at another bargain.

The NTA convention dealers are now dumping those Duke Dog proofs now so they don't have to haul them back home. Duke DP's this morning were selling for $100.00 a dozen at NTA Escanaba, Michigan National Convention. DANG !!! I bought too soon !!! Should have waited till this morning. Should have hired Austin to advise me when to submit my Buy order !!! w

Dealers are cashing out of dead inventory to free up capital while they can,

The Duke Dps were being sold at clearence pricing because the new ones are powder coated. This was the only deal seen by me and I was a looking. Used trap prices were higher than new. I reckon you'll find the new powder coated at a much higher price. We brought home nothing but lots of laughs, memories and a few trinkets.

Austin,
Can't believe your still on this board after our failed partnership. I would have thought with all the economic term oil in the market you be on wall street these days.
PS. Your guns still looking as good as that picture?

Those arms are photoshopped. They looked smaller down at Flatiron over the winter.

Austin, Can't believe your still on this board after our failed partnership. I would have thought with all the economic term oil in the market you be on wall street these days. We'll do muskrats this year, AJ... make sure your boots are leak-proof! Financial markets are a mere shell of their former selves right now. Trading volume has collapsed along with volatility, the only movement now is high-frequency computer programs along with U.S. Federal Reserve directly propping stock markets up because they cannot afford the aftermath of what will happen next time markets come down. As for me, I'm working with crude oil futures because that's one of the few truly free markets left unfettered. Even that is much tougher to navigate than ever before due to plethora of computer-programs all trying to front-run each other. My workday is essentially 6am - 2pm and too much spare time left over. I wouldn't be opposed to a career shift or other opportunity, one never knows. Tried to get a food-vendor business established, blocked from that for now due to state health board regulations. In order to run a food truck, food trailer or even a hotdog cart, you need an approved kitchen area (other than your own in-home) that passes inspection. I'm on well water here which is not approved, or at least not without jumping thru more hoops than it's worth. Looking towards next year to run a food operation, possibly still trading, maybe somethings entirely different. Next year is a long ways away. Let's look forward as far as muskrat season and focus on that

The Duke Dps were being sold at clearance pricing because the new ones are powder coated. I reckon you'll find the new powder coated at a much higher price. Von, Is the Powder Coating on The "New" DUKE DP's as Good a Quality as the Powder coating found on the Z-Traps ? w

Austin,
Tell Holly she still looks good. Austin, as far as food service, you can't give up that easy.
As for Marsh rats? Your kidding right? They are going to take the biggest hit.

Baldy, Did you double your Fur Sales Receipt Funds from Last Winter's GVTA Auctions on the Market or did you Lose Your Shirt ? w It's not a matter of "losing one's shirt"... it is a matter of inability to make new money inside low-volume, low range intraday markets. Trading is not a question of win or lose and nothing else. Treading water in static fashion for long periods of time is the third situation.

Austin, #1 - Tell Holly she still looks good. Austin, #2 - as far as food service, you can't give up that easy. #3 - As for Marsh rats? Your kidding right? They are going to take the biggest hit. #1 = she's 45+ now and all I hear about every day is how old she thinks she looks. But I was with her a couple weeks ago up in Varysburg where a store clerk proofed her when trying to buy beer. Clerk was straight serious, thought she was too young. I said, "too young? this broad is 45 years old!" Everyone in line and the cashier froze for two seconds, then they all burst out laughing. We had fun with it #2 = I haven't quit anything... intend to run a food vendor operation at weekend events, and this season is already shot for that. Gotta prepare for next year. #3 - I don't care what muskrats sell for this year, I am trapping them hard as I can until the money runs out! <lol>

Oh Austin.
Tell me about your food service Idea? A standard "gut" truck or something new and exciting? Did you and Bruce team up?
