Dear Friend, Here is a couple simple but effective baits
In a clean gallon jug, 1/2 gallon ground chicken legs..... taint for about a week then add 2 cups sodium benzoate and mix well. Let set for 2-3 weeks then add a pint of glycerin and 1/2 an ounce of Nightowl tonquin. Mix well and let it age for several months.
In a clean gallon jug, 1/2 gallon of ground fish, two cups of pickling salt, mix well add a pint of fish oil ( cod liver oil works best) and a 4 oz container of monosodium glutamate ( accent') mix well.
Regards

Thank you sir,the best bait I used this season was a concoction of yours I saw on here made with beaver meat, absolute best bobcat and grey fox bait I've tried so far period(I've used almost every commercial bait currently made).caught plenty of coyotes on it too but they seemed to be more drawn to the same recipe with bobcat instead of beaver for some reason.plan to try more of your recipes as my ingredient collection grows.thank you

I made a mixture of bacon, lard, honey and castor and added some glycerin and sodium benzoate. I put this in the freezer last night, not knowing what else to do with it at this time. Should I have let it taint a bit first or can I take it out some time before season to do that? Will it keep in the freezer until season or should I make it closer to season? This was my first time trying this and I didn't make much not knowing how best to store and preserve.
