well, the flatiron guy is older than those 20-somethings I dealt with last week. Maybe he has more experience in the sport at hand than they do. Then again, perhaps advancing age and deterioration from years of too much rugby abuse has diminished his levels of tolerance. Maybe it's not fair to challenge him in an all-nighter, now that you put it that way :0
regardless, I know better than to drink copious amounts of homemade wine. Made that error in judgment many years ago. If I were to do that again, I'd probably pack a firearm along as my hangover cure next day to end the misery in a hurry.

I brought TWO CASES of Bottled Labatt Blues to that Shindig, And since I am not really a drinker myself, tended to the FLATIRON fire instead. I had to be to work at 10:15 the next morning so I had to Pace myself. At least I wasn't caught Zipped into a Common sleeping bag with the Blue Balled Kid. ROTFFLMAO !!! And I still have ALL MY HAIR ON MY HEAD TOO, and I have a REALLY BIG HEAD TO COVER !!! walleyed

how many leftover bottles did you have to take home? It's not nearly so good when you let them get warm overnight after being chilled before. just a heads-up on leaving leftovers lay around in the heat

psb, you were in Bob Hughe's trapping territory there... but I'm right around the corner from that sign. If you weren't runnin' hot to get home, I'd have bought you lunch here at the Middletown tavern

if I could respectfully suggest to admin here: the new font is obviously smaller default setting that old site build used. I'm not as young & eagle eyed as walleyed is or many of the other young folks here. It's a bit challenging to read. Is it possible for someone to change all fonts to a bigger size?

WOW AUSTIN! Bob, are you using the correct link? I had to school those kids at the recent Luke Bryan concert on the finer arts of tailgating... been doing that since before their parents (mom in the picture) started dating <lol> next one I'm fixin' to give drinking lessons to is that flatiron guy. Has anyone heard anything lately from that guy east of me with those squirrel mutts and ornery chickens over there? I didn't mean to scare him off or anything with talk about all-nighters and such. I really enjoy his company, hope he's not skeered now to show up at the various trapper festivities. I'll retract what I said before and bring plenty of fresh squeezed lemonade for all instead

well, maybe flatiron has taken a vow of silence for the rest of this year, sorta like some people do fasts or cleanses.
I never did buy into any of those sasquatch stories anyway... too hard to believe, if you ask me

Austin, just talked to the old man a little while ago he's been workin 3 jobs lately and he said that he isn't in here much cause he don't like the new setup and it's been pretty dead. But as far as him he's all bit up right now the 2 female curs got in a hell of a battle in the kennel and he was in the middle and got tore up pretty bad so he spend the weekend in the blues a little 2 heavy and was sitting in his chair this afternoon suffering from a mild hangover as he puts it to kill the pain of the bite wounds on his hands and legs!!!!!!!!!

ugh Joel, that sounds terrible! The man sure loves his game chickens and it seems like those cute little curs might have a similar temperament when riled. Dog dynamics are a funny thing when you have several together, a fight can break out at any time from out of the blue. Maybe I'll give him a call later this week or weekend when I got 15 - 20 minutes free to hear the story and catch up

As usual when they plan these UPGRADES they don't take into consideration that there are still a lot of people who live in rural areas that have less than high speed internet service available so as a result we now only use the site when we are in an exceptionally patient mood or have a good stock of cool ones[about a 16 ouncer to load a page]to keep in touch with the rest of the world.

software upgrades in every class of service, not just proboards here, always roll out new builds with glitches. Then they use actual user traffic to shake down and find those glitches, then they issue patches and repairs and modified builds to solve problems. At first the load time here was dreadful, now it's back to normal for me but that could be a computer factor itself. Also, the elimination of embedded images lightened the bandwidth load considerably to say the least, which means there should be much faster page speeds because of that. But I know from experience across dozens of various software applications and companies that "change" and "new" means glitches and issues for awhile. It'll get figured out
