Never had the opportunity to meet him but did call him once and enjoyed a very nice conversation. Seemed like a very nice guy. I too have enjoyed his articles and enjoyed his segment on the NTA videos. Boy he would be a good one to tag along with or take instructions from.

Odon Corr is one of those quieter western trappers ;D He's a true gentleman and one heck of a coyote trapper. I knew him and considered him a friend back in the fur boom days when we would all visit at the conventions across the country. Gordy had a chance to visit with him in Missouri at the NTA, but somehow I missed seeing him, unfortunately. I sure hope he makes it to the one in Minnesota next year. It'll take awhile to catch up on the past 25 years or so.

I have met him as well......approachable, friendly. Always thought he was the real deal, as he is. Good lure maker, dog trainer as well.
Some big name trappers are a little miffed with him right now as he was in the middle of and supported the recent non-resident trapping issue in SD. Some guys that I know that know him well are really conflicted now as to their opinion of him and most hope that he just really didn't think about what he was supporting.
For me, I love when I open the TW and there's an article in there from him, as it will most likely be coyote-related.

I first met him years ago used his lure on the recomendation of a guy named George Soriano used the C-50. Then I went to trappers college met him again and between him and George Stewart I got to catching a lot more "stuff", I still use the way he blocks the dog now that my traps are dogless I've found it to effectively fence cats and still not shy the coyotes off. Got a couple Airedales from him like to break my heart when ole bob went under this spring, I still use one of his lures for cats and call him once in awhile he is working on a jack russell /airedale cross for decoy dogs should be interesting!! I'll tell one story we were set up in Idaho at the nta west ,I was between Odon and Glen Sterling which was about too neat ,anyway we were against the fence and this 4 wheeler comes through clearing the crowd back and behind them came this biiiig motor home and pulling a cadallic esclade on a trailer ,Odon looks it over and with a hint of sarcasm says "must be a cat trapper"!!!-------Tom
